  Terrible customer service from Carmen Treviño. This is a very unfortunate situation since my family and I have been long time customers of Samuel's and have purchased multiple rings & jewelry from there. As I was shopping in Dillard's, I asked my fiancé to clean the ring I had purchased there a while back. He came back and said Ms. Treviño would not clean it because of the "chemicals they used." I was dumbfounded since I had previously taken it there multiple times & they cleaned it for me with no questions asked. I went back and asked the same woman to clean it and she did after asking what name the ring was purchased under and pretending to look it up on some papers she had on her desk. (Mind you, I purchased this years back, so my info would have to have been in the computer system.) She finally cleaned it and when she returned, my fiancé asked why she didn't offer him the same service. Her response was that he "left too fast". This made no sense because he handed her the ring and she examined it and then gave it back refusing to clean it. I'm not sure if it was out of pure laziness or discrimination based on his age or looks, but I'm very disappointed and will not be a returning customer. If you can't treat your customers with respect and great service, you don't deserve to be in business. (I'm hoping she did not give a false name when we asked so that the wrong person does not get in trouble, but I'd be glad to identify her for the store manager or owner)
